So I talked a little bit about holiday dresses... But how about the perfect clutch that goes with it?
I found high end, middle of the road and cheap & chic alternatives that are versatile and stylish...
My all time favorite is Jimmy Choo Mave of course... @ $995
Lauren Merkin has awesome cute clutches that are around $200 and very cute!!!
You can find themn online at Bergdorf or Shopbop
And lastly Banana Republic has some really affordable alternatives at $50-100
Nice alternatives for your holiday party!

Fendi Mosaic Belts
This season Fendi's runway models were adorned by this amazing belt! I love it...
I think Spring fashion this year is really calling out for bold accessories such as this big belt. Also, big wooden necklaces, vibrant colored clutches etc...
By the way, Fendi must be doing something different... A New designer or something. I never thought Fendi was cool... Until now
1-2-3-3.1 Phillip Lim - SS RTW
I love three looks from Phillip Lim's Spring Summer 08 ready to wear - Very inspirational for Spring shopping...
1. The Shrunken Pants (I think this will be the staple new trend for the new season)
2. The flowy layered dresses (lovely as always)
3. Bold necklaces (Marni also makes amazing necklaces!!!)
Trend Alert: Jackets over Dresses
I love People Magazine's style section. It is a non-judgmental look at celebrity styles. I really liked a trend that was featured this week and wanted to share...
Blazers over dresses... I really like this look when going out. Alternatively cute leather jacket over a dress... Mike & Chris jackets are the perfect leather jackets that pull this look together... I highly recommend J.Crew for their classic jackets as well

Winter Wonderland
It is real cold here... And I thought it was really about time for me to post some cute-ish cold weather proof pairs of boots.
Uggs are a natural default but I found a few more alternatives on Shopbop
People from California, Florida and other lucky states, you may just stop reading at this point (ahhh I am jealous!)
Firstly cute uggs that are little more snow and storm appropriate
These are Juicy (and they are as juicy as these types of boots get in my opinion)
This is an Aussie brand I was not familiar with, but is a super cute alternative to Uggs, appropriately called Love from Australia
And you may consider exchanging your favorite Tory Burch ballet flats with these Tory Burch Boots

Tolani Scarves
Jessica Alba has been wearing these cute scarves and finally I found them!
You can find them at Singer22
They look a little bit like Missoni scarves and at $85, they are the warmth and umpf we deserve in these cold winter days
Love them!!!!

The Good, The Bad and The Queen of Bad
Two looks today... One is a new comer in my radar... One of the Ugly Betty characters, Becky Newton.
I love the Chloe dress, I have always been a fan of the Chloe motorcycle inspired boots... (Although I have to say I don't like them together). But still, I LOVE this dress. I love that it is a little risky but the risk paid off!!!
Now on the other hand, this was too good to pass up... What was Mischa Barton thinking? Seriously????
I can't get over the hair! And the weird make up

Party Looks
I always liked Diane Kruger's style but these days I am just loving it. Here are some photos from the premier of her whatever movie with Nicolas Cage (totally not interested). She looks glowing in both of these outfits. Again, I am loving the sheer fabric, that's the way to go for SS08 shopping (hint hint)

Ankle Fashion from Uncle Karl
Chanel has done the unthinkable! It made the alcohol monitor systems tied to the ankle a fashion inspiration.
The ankle alcohol device has been in the spotlight in 2007, worn to red carpet events by Lindsay Lohan and Eve (am I missing anyone?)
And Karl Lagerfeld has taken those devices and created a mini-bag for the ankle. Cute? Practical for a nite out? Plain witty? Sinister? You decide!!!
Rachel Bilson's Style Spotlight
4 Season's of Rachel Bilson: This is not quite the look of the day post yet. But I just love Rachel Bilson's understated yet attention grabbing style. I wanted to share a few of her lovely looks with you. I am not sure about the designers and all but I think these are all very easy looks to pull together from H&M,Zara and the like. For inspirational purposes only

Paul & Joe Blouse
Issa Dresses for the Spring
Designer Alert: rby45rpm
So have you guys seen this cute picture of Ashley Olsen? I thoughtshe was wearing one of those $5000 (no exaggeration) Balenciaga scarves but it turns out it is a rby45rpm scarf.
They have a store in Soho NY, and their online shopping is coming soon. Very cute!
Look of the Day: Katie Homes
I never thought I would post her picture in my blog in this section. But I love how Katie Holmes stepped it down a notch and now looks less made up and just naturally fashionable - running errands... Very cute street style. I think this is the best I have seen someone pull off those colored skinny jeans!
Cute!

Red Lips done right
Mischa Barton has just pulled off the vamp red lips, looking like she just stepped out of a delicious Film Noir. When playing up the lips, play down the eyes but not too much...
Also it is really important to find the right shade of red for your skin. You don't want it to be too dark or orangy - I would suggest trying on a few before deciding. Could make you look dead or yellow or just not right...

Take the Laura Mercier Test
I love Laura Mercier's website. It is so easy to navigate and learn more about her wonderful products. One feature I love is Find your Skincare Feature
I highly recommend taking the test in these harsh winter days and readjusting your skin regimen and moisturizer. And after that, I highly recommend looking into her wonderful tinted moisturizers!!! They will add a dash of color and keep your skin well moisturized

Rebel Yell
Yes, this morning we have been very lady like and posted goodies from YSL and Lanvin - the ultimate Lady gear!
But the MK side of us is calling again. This precious vintage inspired Rebel Yell sweatshirt is too cute to be ignored. I found it at Shopbop.com.

The most Daaaarling Bag of All
I have a bit of an obsession with the Derek Lam Bag. It is so beautiful, color, details, harware... The whole package. Let me introduce you to Derek Lam's Hildegard Hobo (shown in saddle, also avail in dark brown and mushroom - it's kinda like taupe colored)
And peeps it is on sale @ Barneys. Who needs a Barney's trip now???

Vintage American Apparel?
The news is American Apparel is now launching California Vintage. It will become a mass market vintage retail chain with a few staples from the mother brand American Apparel. The first one opened in Echo Park, Los Angeles (can't think of a more appropriate place for first launch but hey I live in Boston - send some love here soon!!!)
Oh this will be awesome!!! Anyone in Echo Park who can give me the scoop, I would be forever jealous and yet grateful

Look of the Day: Kate Moss
Ok, I am recycling from my factory of good looks. And this one is from my all time style icon, Kate Moss.
I think the vest look will still be in for the spring so this is an inspiring look for all of us, as we start making shopping lists for the good weather.
And you can still pull it off in the winter with skinny jeans, knee high boots and a cute t-shirt. Throw on a beanie and you are ready to go...
Enjoy!
Love Quotes
So I have decided that Lindsay Lohan still has amazing style power even when she is in Utah.
She comes back to LA, wearing these random scarves that are a little longer than pashminas, and this brand of scarves *overnight* becomes the hottest thing to have!
So these scarves are called (as you can tell from my blog's title) Love Quotes.
Love the style or not, the reason they are called Love Quotes is each scarf comes with a quote from a prominent leader/visionary/good-doer like Mother Theresa or Confucius. And a portion of the company's profits go to international children's organizations.
Very nice! Now I know why I would rather buy them over pashminas. Ok La Lohan, you convinced me. And they come in a wide variety of cute cute colors!
